We’re very used to vertical lines. They’re all over the place, and we’re very used to building them.

How does the vertical line make itself better? Well, ‘going higher’, being ‘bigger’, becomes the only reason for the vertical line and it sort of forgets why it was created in the first place. There aren’t many options for the vertical line.

The simple problem with vertical lines is that they are unstable and unadaptable.

But, it’s ok. We have an alternative to the vertical line. The horizontal line

And we have lots of them crossing over in different and interesting ways, creating a network of lines.

Horizontal lines make us more powerful as individuals.

And, quite simply, that is why the vertical line is bad, and horizontal lines are good. The great news? The days of the vertical line are numbered.
